Good afternoon. This is an important recorded message for all Middletown High School students. Student schedules are available for viewing in home access at this time. Changes to schedules may be granted for the following two reasons: a change the level of the course such as honors verses college prep or placement in a course not on the original course request. Schedule change request forms are available in the main office. Students requesting changes can complete a form and submit it to the guidance department. All efforts to rectify schedules will be made, but not every request can be honored. Students will be allowed to submit their schedule change requests until the fifth day of school.
We would also like to announce that due changes in our student population, our guidance team has changed. Please check the website to see the new guidance counselor assignments. If a you are requesting to meet with a guidance counselor during the summer, please call ahead to schedule an appointment as they are not in on a daily basis.
Seniors may begin requesting parking, but passes will not be assigned until mid August. Mrs. Blent will be the contact for this.
Fall Sports (football, boys soccer, field hockey, girls volleyball, XC) begin for students in grades 9-12 on 8/16/2010. Be sure to have a DIAA sports physical form dated after 4/1/2010 on file in the nurse's office before practices begin. We also want to remind students that they need to be completing their summer reading Three Cups of Tea. We hope you are enjoying the read and are ready for your assessment when you return to school.
