Twilight Department
Parents and students we are working to create a twilight information website. Today, Monday August 24th returning students should have received an alert now message letting you know that the twilight program will start for students on September 3. For new students the process for enrollment is being worked on. The Twilight Advisory Committee will take recommendations from guidance counselors and discuss individual meetings.

Two alert now messages went out to students currently enrolled and to students that have been approved through the comittee. Parents and Students who are interested in the program should contact their guidance counselor and discuss possible enrollment.

Protocol for Students Entering Twilight

Uptake of New Students

1. Student talks with guidance counselor concerning Twilight Program. Counselor reviews admission requirements with student. If the student meets the admission criteria, the student fills out interest sheet for Twilight Program.

2. Interest sheet is forwarded to the Twilight Coordinator.

3. Twilight Coordinator calls parents of student to talk over admission criteria and to inform them of child’s interest in the Twilight Program. Parents are informed that the decision will be made at the next Twilight Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting.

4. At TAC meeting students interested in joining Twilight are reviewed by the committee. The committee decides which students will be enrolled and which will not.

5. Twilight Coordinator calls parents to inform them of the TAC decision. Parent meetings are scheduled for new students and parents to review expectations and sign paper work.
